Am beautiful
I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise
My face is free of dirt
My hands and feet are clean
I wipe then five times daily, in wudu
My days are fulfilled
With salaat I find tranquillity and forgiveness of sin
You don’t have to tell me about my beauty
Beauty is in my speech
Beauty is in my character
My beauty is within me
My clothes don’t tell my beauty
My clothes are my own assemble
Beauty is not my waist size
Beauty is not the colour of my hair
My beauty cannot judged and criticised
By stranger and onlookers
My beauty is understated
In my hijab, jilbab and niqab
My beauty is mine to behold and honour
Beauty is my reflection on life and death
Beauty is my acceptance of truth in Islam
